Police in Brighton have identified a motorcyclist on U.S. 85.
Myron L. Edwards, 53, of Henderson died in the crash at 168th Avenue, Brighton police said.
“The motorcycle struck the Ford Escape broadside and both vehicles came to a stop in the intersection,” police said in a news release. “The motorcycle rider was ejected and died from his injuries at the scene.”
The driver of the Ford Escape, Edwin Fontes, 25, of Brighton, has not been charged in the crash. Alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be involved, police said previously.
Police continue to investigate.
