Getting your player ready...

The easy fix: Soften the edges.

Civic Center has benches and trees, but rarely is there a bench under a tree. It has lots of grass but no native grasses. It has flowers in horticulturally correct squares, but they don’t look happy.

Couldn’t we replace some of those hard concrete sidewalks with gravel paths?

The park holds some of the most important art in Denver, but we honor them because they are historic, not because of who we are today. This city is full of architects who could design a pavilion that works and draws tourists.

People go to a park to relax and we could help them with that.
