Employees work on vortex generators at Vestas Blades in Windsor. (AAron Ontiveroz, The Denver Post)

Re: “Vestas to hire at least 350 new workers at Brighton, Windsor plants,” Aug. 5 news story.

Hurrah to Vestas for hiring 350 workers to increase production of a wind-power plant. This is the direction we need to be going when it comes to clean, sustainable, renewable energy. What place better than Colorado for this to happen? Now we need to get solar production going as well and get away from oil, coal and hydraulic fracking, and this state will add more jobs and push for a more renewable energy future.
