Adams County prosecutors on Friday filed charges against a suspect in a at an Aurora bar that left one man dead and two others wounded.
Ignacio Luque-Verdugo, 31, faces six counts, including two counts of first-degree murder, in the November 2014 shooting at the Bronco Bar on the 9400 block of East Montview Boulevard.
Luque-Verdugo was also charged with eight counts of crime of violence, a sentencing enhancer.
The shooting left 29-year-old Andres Cinto-Duran, who was shot six times, dead.
Sergio Cinto-Duran, 29, was shot three times and paralyzed in the encounter and Manuel Rios-Rios, 30, was shot once and survived, prosecutors say.
The 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office announced the charges in a news release Friday.
County prosecutors say an altercation precipitated the shooting.
“Luque-Verdugo was arrested July 10 in California,” the release said. “Extradition proceedings are underway.”
