Woody Paige and Colorado Rockies beat writer Patrick Saunders question why the Colorado Rockies pulled Jon Gray on Monday night.
“What kind of message are you sending the rest of the team when you take him out on an arbitrary pitch count when he’s throwing so well and give it to a crappy bullpen,” Saunders asked. “Essentially you’re saying, ‘Well, we lost the game but at least we protected Jon Gray.'”
