1 Knife pulled on roommate. A day of drinking July 26 between two roommates at Bandimere Speedway ended in a felony menacing arrest at a home in the 9500 block of West 52nd Avenue, Arvada. The suspect shattered a glass door before pulling a knife on her male friend and threatened to cut his throat.

2 Suspicious sticker leads to arrest. Police arrested the driver of a Toyota 4Runner on July 23 near Kipling Parkway and Ralston Road in Arvada after a patrol officer noticed the license plate tag appeared to have been removed and reapplied. The driver had two outstanding warrants and faced additional charges after police found two methamphetamine pipes in the truck.

3 Husband sneaks a drink. Police issued an open container ticket July 25 to a man seen by officers throughout the day sitting in a vehicle parked in front of Gen X Clothing, 5197 W. 64th Ave., Arvada. He told police he wanted to have a drink where his wife couldn’t find him.

4 Repeat traffic offender busted. A habitual traffic offender was pulled over and arrested July 23 near the 10300 block of Ralston Road in Arvada. The motorist was clocked going 13 mph over the speed limit, had no proof of insurance and revoked driving privileges dating to 1999.

5 Taco Bell scuffle. An aggressive panhandler who had been harassing customers outside Taco Bell, 5325 Wadsworth Blvd., Arvada, was ticketed and issued a no-trespass order July 29 after he pushed an employee who asked him to leave.
