LONGMONT — The Longmont City Council appointed a homeless man to the city’s housing authority board, but city staff members haven’t heard from him since he submitted an application and don’t know how to reach him.
Josh Canvasser applied for appointment to the five-member Longmont Housing Authority board earlier this year.
The housing authority aims to provide affordable housing to low-income residents of the city.
Canvasser included his contact information with his application, but Longmont City Clerk Valeria Skitt said staff members ran into problems locating the man for his interview.
