1 Man has attitude. On July 30, Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a dispute between a man, his mother-in-law and his wife in the 12000 block of West Cross Drive in the Littleton area. The fight started when the man became angry after his mother-in-law failed to tape a soccer all-star game. She accused her son-in-law of having an attitude. The fight continued the next day. The deputy noted the man would stay elsewhere that night and no crime occurred.
2 Hazardous materials reported. A woman called deputies on July 30 to report hazardous materials in her backyard in the 10000 block of Dakan Mountain, Ken-Caryl. The woman said she found two antique glass fire extinguishers among her late husband’s things that were potentially dangerous. The extinguishers were transported to the explosives range.
3 Woman sees suspicious legs. On July 27, a woman called deputies to report that when she returned to her home in the 6000 block of Willow Springs Drive in the Morrison area
she let her dog out and noticed a flash of light and some legs running away. She went to the front and saw her car’s dome light was on. She didn’t know how the light could have been left on.
4 Man says cashier shorted him. On July 28, a man called deputies after he claimed he was shorted by a cashier at Le Peep, 8055 W. Bowles Ave. in the Littleton area. The man said he wasn’t given a receipt and the change was not counted out. When he went to dispute the issue, the cashier printed a receipt. The cashier asked the man to leave, saying he was was combative.
