Denver’s Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone is finally getting his shot at the UFC lightweight title.

Cerrone, 32, will fight champion Rafael dos Anjos on Dec. 19 in the main event of the UFC Fight Night card at Amway Center in Orlando, Fla.

It isn’t the first time these two fighters have faced off. Dos Anjos won a unanimous decision in August 2013. Since the loss, Cerrone has rattled off eight straight victories, including three this year.

“Cowboy is definitely the contender,” UFC president Dana White said in a . “He’ll fight anybody, anywhere, any time. … He always keeps his composure, he picks his shot, he takes his time. He looked great again tonight, Cowboy’s next in line.”
