The self-proclaimed “Baddest Man on the Planet” Joe Warren will face L.C. Davis in the main event of Bellator 143 in Hidalgo, Texas, on Sept. 25. The match will air on Spike at 7 p.m.
Warren (12-4), a 38-year-old Monument resident, is back in the ring for the first time since losing his bantamweight title to Marcos Galvao at Bellator 135 via submission.
“Joe Warren has been itching to get back in action and return to the 135-pound title chase, while L.C. Davis has momentum on his side since his fight-of-the-year caliber matchup against Hideo Tokoro in March,” Bellator president Scott Coker said in a release. “I’m truly looking forward to it.”
Davis (23-6), 34, is on a three-bout win streak.
