Tracy Morgan will make his return to “Saturday Night Live” and the 41st season launches this fall.
Morgan, a former “SNL” cast member for seven seasons, will host the show for his second time on Oct. 17, following a 2014 car crash. He had a seven-season run on “SNL” and was Emmy-nominated for his role on “30 Rock.”
NBC and “SNL” also announced Miley Cyrus will be the season’s first host, opening the show on Oct. 3, her third time as host. Amy Schumer will make her “SNL” hosting debut on the second episode, on Oct. 10, coming off her summer movie hit “Trainwreck.” Her first HBO comedy special, “Amy Schumer: Live From the Apollo,” premieres Oct. 17.
Musical guests are yet to be announced.
