A series of burglaries and vandalism at several churches in Fort Collins is being investigated by police.
Four burglaries have happened in the past four weeks, with one church being burgled and vandalized twice, Fort Collins Police said in a media release.
The incidents occurred in the 2700 block of South Lemay Avenue, the 900 block of East Prospect Road and the 600 block of East Drake Road, police said.
Several items, including cash, were stolen. The church on Drake was hit twice.
At about 3 a.m. Sunday police were called to 2180 Majestic Drive, the construction site of the Fort Collins Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Vandals damaged building exteriors and structures, as well as construction equipment and machinery.
