Two boulders tumbled onto a road in the foothills of Jefferson County Monday, shutting the roadway down in both directions.

The incident happened in the 17000 block of Southwest Platte River Road, north of Buffalo Creek, according to a 5:30 p.m. Tweet by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

There were no reports of injuries.
