George Brauchler makes his closing statement in the final sentencing phase of the Aurora theater shooting trial. Brauchler asks for the maximum sentence for the gunman and expresses his frustration that the jury was not able to decide on a death penalty for the the defendant. He asks them to show no mercy and to sentence the gunman to the maximum of 3,318 years in prison in order to recognize the suffering of the hundreds of people directly and indirectly affected by this event.
