Labor Day travelers can expect the drive from mountain camping and hiking trips back into Denver to take an hour longer than normal because of heavy traffic on Interstate-70, officials said Monday.

The Colorado Department of Transportation is projecting that it will take an hour and 55 minutes to get from Silverthorne to Denver, according to a CDOT tweet.

Normally it takes about an hour to go the same distance.
