BOULDER — CU Buffaloes hoops fans can start marking their calendars. The Pac-12 Conference men’s basketball schedule has finally arrived.

While the nonconference schedule already had been released — CU opens with a game against highly touted Iowa State in Sioux Falls, S.D., on Nov. 13, followed by a game at Auburn — the Pac-12 portion of the Buffs’ schedule became official Thursday.

CU begins its fifth season in the league with a New Year’s Day game at California, a trip that includes a visit to Stanford on Jan. 3. From there, the Buffs will alternate home series with road trips. CU’s home portion of the Pac-12 schedule begins with the only three-game home set of the league slate, a run that gets started Jan. 8 against Utah and continues against Oregon State (Jan. 13) and Oregon (Jan. 17).

Stanford (Jan. 27) and California (Jan. 31) come to Boulder after games at Washington and Washington State. After a road trip to face Oregon and Oregon State, Washington State comes to Boulder on Feb. 11 and Washington on Feb. 13.

Then the Buffs make their annual Los Angeles trip to play USC and UCLA.

The regular-season home finale two-game set will be against Arizona (Feb. 24) and Arizona State (Feb. 28).

The Buffs close their regular season at Utah on March 5 before traveling to Las Vegas for the Pac-12 Tournament, which will be played March 9-12.
