Re: “Don-Don and the Trumpettes,” Sept. 3 Kathleen Parker column.
I think Kathleen Parker’s harsh characterization of Donald Trump is unkind and unfounded when put into direct contrast with unfavorable recent changes in our American way of life. We now live in a society where anything goes, where nothing seems honest anymore, and where our Constitution has lost its former reverence. A bulldog approach might be the only way to turn our country around, and Trump should be considered a worthy and accredited candidate to do the job. He speaks with knowledge of wanting to fix everything that is wrong and I believe he has the fortitude to try to do just that, with one example being the wall along the border. The wall is necessary and he wants it built and he will build it one way or another, even if he pays for it himself.
