ALAMOSA, Colo. (AP) — Alamosa authorities say they have found an inmate who escaped from the county jail.
The Valley Courier reports (http://bit.ly/1JZgX26 ) that 23-year-old Loren Bianca was found hiding in the shower of a mobile home less than a mile from the jail. He was found about 20 hours after his escape.
Bianca slipped out Monday behind a cook who was leaving after her shift.
Bianca was being held for a charge of failure to appear in court on a felony drug charge.
Alamosa County Sheriff Robert Jackson says he doesn’t expect to fire any employees because of the escape.
