Film festival
The Breck Film Fest runs Sept. 17-20 in Breckenridge. Frontier history
Lamar Community College hosts “Frontier History Encampment,” a biannual living-history event, Oct. 2-3. The campus welcomes first-person historic interpreters — whom attendees can meet — to bring to life the experience of living on the Great Plains during the 1800s.
