1 Terrible hiding spot. Police responded to a possible domestic violence call in the 11500 block of Community Center Drive, Northglenn, on Aug. 23. Police ordered all occupants to come outside, but one drunken man with an active warrant attempted to hide in the middle of the bedroom floor. He was arrested.

2 Hair care. Two women were arrested for trying to steal four bottles of shampoo and conditioner from the Albertson’s at 3840 E. 104th Ave., Thornton, on Aug. 15. The suspects hid the items in their purses and paid for some bread and butter before being apprehended at the doors.

3 Storage thieves. A woman discovered that someone cut the lock off of her Public Storage unit at 2000 W. 92nd Ave., Federal Heights, when she went there Aug. 11. The thieves used bolt cutters to remove her padlock, then took motorcycle parts that were inside.

4 Take it out on the dresser. Police showed up to a home in the 11500 block of Gilpin Street, Northglenn, because a couple was fighting, and their neighbors heard a crash Aug. 24. It turned out that a man had pushed over the dresser and mirror to, as he said, avoid hitting his wife instead. He was arrested.

5 Losing customers. Employees of the CarMax at 2600 W. 104th Ave., Federal Heights, reported that someone stole navigation systems and radios from two of their customers’ cars Aug. 12.

6 Transportation targets. A woman who lives in the 7700 block of Kenwood Street, Commerce City, called police after someone broke the passenger window out of her car and stole her bike Aug. 23.
