Denver police are investigating two separate officer-involved accidents on Thursday afternoon.
At 17th Avenue and Monaco Parkway, an officer was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle accident, the Denver Police Department said on its Twitter account.
A few blocks away at 23rd Avenue and Monaco Parkway, a two-vehicle accident sent two officers and one person to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Officers said to expect delays in the area and did not have further information about the crashes.
