
1 Hospital takes too long. On Sept. 13, a man was arrested for causing a disturbance at St. Joseph’s Hospital, 1375 E. 19th Ave. The suspect was in the waiting room when he became irate over the wait time. He had to be restrained and attempted to punch a guard.
2 Patrons return to fight, remove shirts. Several men were arrested Sept. 14 for fighting at Epernay Lounge, 1080 14th St. The men were asked to leave earlier in the evening, but returned to fight some patrons as the business closed. The fight entered the street and suspects ripped off their shirts when police gave commands.
3 Resident confronts trespasser. On Sept. 7, Denver police responded to an incident at an apartment complex in the 600 block of 26th Street. Police learned that the suspect gained access to the courtyard of the complex and was confronted by a resident. The suspect poked the resident in the face and pulled a knife.
4 Man assaulted in the street. Denver police arrested a man on Sept. 10 after he was identified as the suspect who had pushed a man to the ground, punched him and threw his phone in the street near the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and Washington Street. The victim told police the suspect began shouting homosexual slurs.
5 Woman struck with broomstick. On Sept. 11, a woman was arrested by Denver police for assaulting another woman at Walgreens, 2000 E. Colfax Ave. The victim told Denver police she was in the Walgreens when she was pushed by the suspect. The suspect then hit her with a broomstick and refused to leave.
