Saturday and Sunday. The Colorado Symphony Orchestra plays in the land of show tunes this weekend, presenting a semi-staged version of “The Music Man” at Boettcher Concert Hall. The CSO Chorus joins in for the production, which will feature singers Gabriel Preisser and Sarah Lawrence in the lead roles of the flim-flammy music professor Harold Hill and the small-town librarian Marian Paroo that he woos. Everyone knows the big songs in Meredith Willson’s hit — “Ya Got Trouble,” “The Wells Fargo Wagon” and “76 Trombones.” Here’s a good chance to hear the CSO’s new assistant conductor Christopher Dragon at work. 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday.
