A whole new way of looking at ranch-style living in Colorado: Inspiration arrives with Parker schools and easy commute to DTC

Getting your player ready...

If you’ve been scouring the south metro area for the kind of new, large ranch designs you see advertised in communities up north and out west of the metro area, you’re in for a treat today. Just 15 minutes east of the Denver Tech Center, the same developer that’s created Anthem Colorado up in Broomfield has now opened Inspiration Colorado – on a 1,000-acre site, in rolling country that’s at the northern edge of the Black Forest, with ranch models by Standard Pacific Homes open now, and more models coming soon from Toll Brothers.

This is an all-inclusive community, where product and lifestyle opportunities will be provided in two neighborhoods, one of them for age-qualified buyers age-55-plus; the other to traditional family buyers. Some amenities will be shared by both — a concept fairly unique to the Denver area. The age-qualified neighborhood featuring homes by Toll Brothers is being provided the 20 Mile House — restricted to those who purchase in that enclave. But an Inspiration Club will be available to all residents, regardless of age or whether they have children in the home. The master plan also calls for miles of additional trails and a resort-style pool planned with luxury cabanas, large event lawn, barbeque, and fire pit.

Standard Pacific’s all-ranch enclave features eight ranch-style plans with wide open great rooms and entertaining areas, luxurious owner suites, integrated outdoor living spaces, and options for additional highly functional living and entertaining space on the basement level. A ranch plus a daylight walkout basement has always been a coveted matchup in Colorado; and both Standard Pacific and Toll Brothers will have walkout sites in Inspiration.

You can expect to see some larger-than-average homes sites, large enough that Standard Pacific offers an option for a full-wide 4-car garage on some of eight ranch floor plans. Prices start at $379,975.

And watch for the opening late next month of Toll Brothers’ sales center in Hilltop, the age-55-plus community within Inspiration – with pre-sale opportunities for some of the same ranch designs that have been runaway best sellers at Anthem Ranch in Broomfield.

Standard Pacific’s all-ages homes are served by nearby Douglas County Schools in Parker – and Toll Brothers’ age-qualified enclave will have plenty of emphasis on lifestyle, enhanced by the planned community center with full-time activities director. Buyers in both areas, says Carl Nelson, Project Manager for Inspiration Colorado, will get much of the community feel that Anthem residents enjoy — high quality amenities overseen by a lifestyle director.

Already, you can find some recreational attractions in place: acres of preserved open space, a park, sports courts, and many trails already open. The commuter setting is just ten minutes from Meridian, Inverness and Lone Tree – 15 minutes from Interlocken and the Denver Tech Center, with shopping at Southlands and Park Meadows. Three golf courses are within minutes: Eagle Bend, Blackstone and Saddle Rock.

To visit Standard Pacific Homes’ models, take E-470 east from I-25 past Parker Road to Gartrell Road; turn south 1.3 miles. For information on Toll Brothers at Inspiration see TollBrothers.com.
