DETROIT — The Broncos will be without backup cornerback Kayvon Webster on Sunday when they take on the Lions at Ford Field.
Webster, who injured his ankle in the Broncos’ Week 2 victory at Kansas City, was listed as doubtful Friday afternoon, but the team announced Saturday that he had been downgraded and ruled out for the game. Webster did not participate in Wednesday’s practice and was limited Thursday and Friday.
Backup defensive end Kenny Anunike, who underwent arthroscopic knee surgery during training camp, is listed as questionable, leaving an opening for him to make his regular-season debut Sunday.
Safety and leading kick returner Omar Bolden was also listed as questionable as he continues to deal with plantar fasciitis.
And right guard Louis Vasquez, who was limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday with a knee injury, participated fully Friday and was listed as probable for the game.
