A 54-year-old woman was arrested Saturday night in western Colorado after authorities say she smashed a glass jar over her neighbor’s head as they drank heavily during a joint garage sale.
Shelly Serra is suspected of second-degree assault with injury, using a deadly weapon and criminal mischief in the Clifton encounter, the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office said.
“The two neighbors claimed they were having a joint yard sale, drinking heavily and eventually they began to physically fight,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
