Getting your player ready...

Former Denver Broncos receiver Tuesday, according to a tweet from ESPN’s Josina Anderson.

Welker, 34, played with the Broncos in 2013 and 2014, getting 122 receptions for 1,242 yards and 12 touchdowns in 27 games.

Since his two-year contract expired with Denver after last season, he has failed to latch on to another team. His may be a cause for teams to pause at signing the veteran.

I’m told the are working out WRs Wes Welker and Hakeem Nicks, among other players today, per their regular kick the tires Tuesday.
