Denver Broncos games at Sports Authority Field at Mile High see a lot of action, and that includes the tailgating parties before the kickoff.

Thousands of fans descend on stadium parking lots for elaborate feasts — it’s really quite the production.

In the Sept. 30 edition of The Denver Post Life and Culture section, . One of our shining stars was a guy named Brad Burkalew, an Iowa native who has proudly worn the orange at Broncos tailgating parties for 20 years.

He always posts a towel emblazoned with “Official Tailgating Rules.” How he manages to “stay upright” and still “Go buckwild” must be a challenge, but Burkalew pulls it off.
