1 Exercise buff. On Sept. 16, a man called Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies after he saw a man at Clement Park, 7306 W. Bowles Ave., Columbine (Littleton), walking around Johnson Reservoir wearing only socks and hiking boots in the middle of the night. Deputies searched the area, but could not find the suspect.

2 Racist slurs heard at 7-Eleven. A man called deputies on Sept. 19 after a car drove by and yelled racist slurs at him while he was working at 7-Eleven, 8250 W. Coal Mine Ave., Columbine (Littleton). The clerk said he had a confrontation with the car’s occupants the previous evening.

3 Neighbors have different versions of dispute. On Sept. 18, a man called deputies after he had a dispute with a neighbor over his dog in the 5000 block of Golf Course Drive, south of Morrison. The man said his neighbor came over and began cursing at him about his dog and threatened him with a pipe. The neighbor said just the opposite had happened.

4 Woman finds tool lodged in truck. A woman called deputies on Sept. 13 after she found a tool lodged in her husband’s truck in the 8000 block of South Dover Street in the Littleton area. There was no damage, but the woman said there had been other problems around her house recently.

5 Rocks disturbed. On Sept. 13, a woman called deputies after someone drove through the rocks on her property in the 4000 block of South Lakehurst Way in the Littleton area. The woman heard noises the previous evening and thought there had been drag racing.
