Boulder — The Oregon Ducks will wear helmet decals in the shape of ribbons with the initials UCC for Saturday’s game against Colorado, honoring the memory of victims in Thursday’s shooting at Umpqua Community College, about 70 miles south of the Oregon campus in Eugene.
In solidarity, the Buffs will wear identical decals on their helmets.
Before the game a moment of silence will be observed for the nine people who were killed in that shooting rampage.
The kickoff scheduled for 8:07 p.m. has been pushed to 8:12 because of television.
