Denver is likely to have a gray Saturday with a chance of thunderstorms lingering throughout the day and evening, forecasters said.

Temperatures will be cooler, with a high of 67 degrees, according to the National Weather Service in Boulder.

A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m. is followed by a chance of showers between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m., the weather service said.

In the mountains, temperatures could dip into the 40s with mixed snow and rain above the timberline.

Sunday is expected to be drier, although cloud coverage is still in the forecast, with a high of 65 degrees.
