Colorado Springs police are investigating a shooting that left one man with a gunshot wound to his jaw early Sunday.
Officers were dispatched to a residence on Marland Place at 3:02 a.m. after a report that someone was shot as a party was breaking up, according to the police. They found the victim when they arrived and he was taken to an area hospital.
“Other partygoers stated that some unknown males were harassing people with guns as they left the party and eventually fired off several shots in the driveway. No other individuals were injured,” the blotter said.
The investigation is ongoing.
