1 Threats with saws. A man was fired from his job at Recycling Connection, 9985 E. 104th Ave., Commerce City, because he threatened a coworker with a table saw Sept. 24. Apparently someone in the warehouse threw a piece of trash at the suspect, so he grabbed the saw and ran at him, threatening to kill him and his family.

2 Field trip money. The principal at Global Village Academy, 555 W. 112th Ave., Northglenn, called police Sept. 11 because someone stole off her desk an envelope with $300 in cash and checks for a field trip. There are no suspects.

3 Discarded bullets. Police responded to the Domino’s Pizza at 12302 E 104th Place, Commerce City, because the manager found 200 bullet shells, a gun bag, paper shooting targets and three headsets laying next the Dumpster Sept. 26. An investigation turned up no suspects.

4 Drunk and armed. A drunken man shot a .45 caliber handgun through the ceiling of his brother-in-law’s house in the 11800 block of Quam Drive, Northglenn, on Sept. 10. He was arrested.

5 Smoky truck. A patrolling police officer found a lone black truck at night in a parking lot in the 2200 block of Eppinger Boulevard, Thornton, on Sept. 16 and asked the driver to roll down the window. It smelled like marijuana and the driver admitted to having four grams on him. He was cited.

6 Bedrock. A woman called Northglenn police to her home in the 300 block of Malley Drive because someone threw a huge rock through her bedroom window while she was watching TV Sept. 9. There are no suspects.
