1 Soccer game incident. On Sept. 26, Denver police responded to a belligerent man at a youth soccer game in the 4300 block of Wolff Street. One man asked the suspect to stop yelling and cursing in front of children. The suspect threatened to beat him up and knocked an umbrella out of the man’s hand. The suspect was cited and told to leave.

2 Woman follows ex’s new girlfriend. A woman called Denver police on Sept. 26 after she noticed her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend following her in her car near the intersection of West 37th Avenue and Federal Boulevard. The ex was also calling her and leaving threatening messages and approached her car while stopped at a light. The victim drove to the police station and the suspect was arrested.

3 Assault at the mailbox. On Sept. 24, a woman called Denver police after she was assaulted by a neighbor at the mailbox at her apartment in the 6900 block of East Evans Avenue. The victim stated she walked to the mailboxes and almost bumped into her neighbor. After asking her to watch where she was going, the neighbor assaulted her, slapping her and grabbing her around the throat.

4 Man beaten, shoes stolen. Denver police responded to a beating Sept. 28 in the 1600 block of Speer Boulevard. The victim had been hit 15-20 times and had his shoes stolen by the suspect.

5 Woman disturbs classes. On Sept, 29, Denver police responded to a disturbance at the Third Way Center, 9100 E. Lowry Blvd. A woman was screaming loudly, which interfered with several classes nearby.
