E-470 Public Highway Authority executive director John McCuskey announced Thursday he will retire from E-470 at the end of the year.
McCuskey joined E-470 in 1999 as director of finance. He was promoted to deputy executive director in addition to his position as director of finance in 2002. He became executive director in 2010.
Prior to joining E-470, McCuskey had a career in finance and was a toll road consultant, providing assistance for clients nationally and internationally, including E-470.
The E-470 board of directors has retained the executive search firm Afflon Public to assist in the process of selecting a new executive director.
“We have taken E-470 to a place where it is recognized not only nationally, but internationally, as a leader in the tolling industry,” McCuskey said.
