Swinging into life at Anthem Ranch in Broomfield is easy; Toll Brothers lets you see for yourself at a ‘Halloween Boogie’

Getting your player ready...

How easy is it to swing into life at Anthem Ranch, the age-55-plus community in Broomfield with gorgeous ranch-style plans by Toll Brothers? Easy indeed – and Toll Brothers will show you how much so at a Halloween Boogie on Saturday, Oct. 24 — the next scheduled event that’ll have Anthem Ranch residents out dancing, dining and frolicking with their neighbors. If you’re considering a move to Anthem Ranch, visit Toll Brothers’ ranch models, or call them, and they’ll provide you a pair of tickets.

Like all Anthem Ranch events, you’ll see a first-rate party with a great band and great refreshments that really turns out residents (there are nice prizes for best costumes). But you’ll also see the planning by a full-time lifestyle director that gives Anthem Ranch a word-of-mouth reputation as a place where people meet their neighbors seamlessly and make quick friendships.

One of the people you’ll meet at that Halloween Party is Tudi Wood, who moved to Anthem Ranch from California late last summer – quickly joined in holiday parties and events; found a group of residents that were exploring the dinner theater scene around Denver and Boulder; began gathering opera lovers together to watch the Live at the Met series at Anthem Ranch’s Aspen Lodge community center; and signed on as a Neighbor-to-Neighbor rep — Anthem Ranch’s version of ‘Welcome Wagon’ and a community outreach team. She and 70 other reps seek out new arrivals right after they’ve moved in.

“Getting involved was very easy,” says Tudi. She shopped several age-55-plus communities around Denver, but felt that she connected with Toll Brothers’ sales team. “I fell in love with it,” Tudi adds. ” with how pretty it was, and how active the community center seemed.”

Anthem Ranch’s lifestyle director Katherine Erstad says that she can no long fit the list of clubs started by Anthem Ranch residents on two type-written pages. Included are indoor activities, but also lots of outdoor items that appeal to a new kind of 55-plus homebuyer, one that takes a very active view of retirement: This summer, Anthem Ranch’s hiking club was climbing into the Devil’s Causeway in the Flat Tops Wilderness Area, packed in on a hut trip into the Ten Mile Range behind Breckenridge; and summited Mt. Audubon in the Indian Peaks Wilderness Area, 13,223 feet. A second group, says Hiking Club coordinator Monica Oba, has formed around less challenging outings for those who want outings of lesser difficulty at lower elevations.

Swinging into life at Anthem Ranch is easy – but only if you pick a Toll Brothers home and choose a home site while those are available. “In a housing market like this with very little inventory, homes that’ll be completed here next year are going under contract right now,” says Toll Brothers Melanie McKenna. McKenna and Leslie Reed can show you a second section of sites that Toll Brothers just opened in its Longview Village neighborhood at Anthem Ranch — and has already taken contracts on 30 of those home-and-site packages in recent weeks.

You can tour the models, including from two collections priced from the $500s and $700s that are designated for those newly released sites available now. And you can see 32,000-square-foot Aspen Lodge recreation center, and can ask for free tickets to Halloween Boogie, Saturday evening, Oct. 24. [Tickets are limited, contact Melanie McKenna or Leslie Reed right away].
