Colorado Springs police say a 20-year-old man was accidentally shot Thursday night by a friend who was cleaning a gun.
The shooting happened about 10:30 p.m. at a home on the 2600 block of Gunnison Street where the wounded man was found.
Police say the man was taken to a hospital with an injury that was not life threatening.
Authorities say the wounded man’s friend left the area before police arrived on scene.
