Starting on September 28th and continuing through December, One Colorado, the state’s leading advocacy organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) Coloradans and their families, is bringing their “Freedom in Every Corner Tour” to ”‹17 cities across Colorado to talk about the work they’ve been doing to build on the recent marriage victory ”‹and”‹ advance LGBT equality on all fronts in Colorado.
Some of the topics they will be addressing include equal access to health care, making ”‹every ”‹school safe for LGBT young people, removing barriers for transgender Coloradans, and making sure no one can claim their religion gives them permission to pick and choose which laws to follow.
The event will include a presentation, questions, and an opportunity for residents and allies ”‹across Colorado to talk about the issues that matter to them.
