, citing a national pilot shortage. This left the tourism-dependent, north-central Wyoming town without regular service.

A group of Sheridan community members called CAST — which stands for Critical Air Service Team — lobbied for the service. In July, CAST members told the Casper Star-Tribune . The money, they said, would be used to ensure the Denver-based airline a minimum amount of revenue.
