
The Black Hawk Police Department is searching for a man who was last seen in August.
William Edward Merrow, 60, was last seen Aug. 12 in Black Hawk, according to a Black Hawk police news release.
Merrow called a family member from a pay phone at 72nd Avenue and Simms Street in Arvada, the release said. He has not contacted his family since then.
Merrow was searching for a job as a laborer and may be seeking a job in the construction industry, police said.
He left Black Hawk with few personal belongings and was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, blue jeans and tan work boots.
Merrow has family in Greeley and is known to hitchhike when traveling between Greeley and Denver.
He has no known address in the metro area.
