An FBI agent witnessed an attempted robbery in Denver on Wednesday and arrested the suspect on a busy highway exit ramp, police said.
The incident happened about 3:30 p.m. on the eastbound exit ramp of Interstate 70 onto Colorado Boulevard, according to the Denver Police Department.
The suspect, who was not armed, was on foot and attempting to rob a vehicle that was exiting the highway, police said.
An FBI agent, also exiting the highway, spotted the incident and intervened. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident, police said.
