Denver police have arrested a 30-year-old woman for investigation of felony child abuse after she allegedly left her two kids in a home that later caught fire.
Rocio Arroyo-Reyes allegedly left her kids without supervision in her home in the 300 block of South Elliott Street on Sept. 29, according to a Denver police news release.
A fire broke out, and someone called 911.
When firefighters searched the home, they found two young children hiding. They were taken to a hospital in critical condition. They were treated and released.
Fire investigators are still investigating the cause of the fire.
