Students and staff at Pikes Peak Community College’s Centennial campus in Colorado Springs have been warned about a threat made Tuesday against the campus by a student, officials say. The campus remains open and no classes have been cancelled.

Campus police are searching for Pikes Peak student Bradley Arrington, who allegedly made the threat, said Allison Cortez, college spokeswoman.

Arrington is described as a 6-feet tall black man weighing 185 pounds.

“A student made a threat against the campus as a whole,” Cortez said. “We have a duty as soon as we hear something like that to notify our students and staff.”

No arrests or acts of violence have been reported, she said.

Cortez said she was notified at 12:20 p.m. about the threat made Tuesday.

Centennial, at 5675 S. Academy Blvd., is one of three college campuses in Colorado Springs.
