
A photograph of an armed robber in Castle Rock was released Wednesday by investigators.
The robbery happened just before 11 a.m. Wednesday at Check Into Cash, 390 S. Wilcox St., according to a Castle Rock Police Department media release.
No one was injured and the armed robber was in the store for a about a minute, police said.
Police describe the suspect as a black man, about 25, wearing jeans , a dark parka with a hood, a baseball cap, an orange safety vest, light colored gloves, and a white construction mask. He was armed with a hand gun.
Nearby Daniel C Oakes High School was put on lockdown as police responded to the robbery. The lockdown was lifted at about noon.
