Authorities have arrested four juveniles for investigation of robbery following a car chase that began in Adams county and ended in Denver.

The robbery happened before 5 a.m. on the 7000 block of Washington Street in Adams County, said Sgt. Jim Morgen of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office.

A person was waiting at a bus stop when they were robbed by someone brandishing a gun.

An Adams County deputy spotted the suspect’s vehicle on the 8800 block of Washington Street at 5:01 a.m., Morgen said.

When the deputy attempted to stop the vehicle, the car sped away. A chase ensued, he said.

The vehicle entered Interstate 25 at 84th Avenue going south. The chase ended at East 48th Avenue and Broadway, Morgen said.

Authorities have recovered a gun.

Morgen said he does not yet have the identities of the four juveniles who were arrested.
