
1 “Climber” makes way to roof. On Oct. 16, a man was arrested for climbing onto the roof of a building in the 800 block of East 11th Avenue. Denver police contacted the man as he exited the building and he admitted he did not live there. He had disturbed several parties as he climbed balconies. He told police that he was a climber and was just having fun.
2 Unwanted man at Burrito Giant. Denver police responded to an unwanted party Oct. 17 at Burrito Giant, 4501 Utica St. The party was an older male who had been told previously not to return because he was mean to staff and would steal soda. Staff used to feed the man before he became combative and threatened to fight staff.
3 Woman refuses to pay cab fare. On Oct. 14, a cab driver called Denver police after a woman refused to pay cab fare when the driver took her to the 200 block of South Sherman Street. Officers contacted the woman at the address and identified her through mug shot records.
4 “Give me that.” A man was arrested by Denver police Oct. 17 after he robbed a woman in the 3300 block of East Bruce Randolph Ave. The woman told police she was on her porch when the man approached and said “give me that,” referring to her phone. He produced a gun and the woman gave over her phone.
5 7-Eleven worker assaulted with purse. On Oct. 18, an employee at 7-Eleven, 1000 Federal Blvd., called Denver police after he was assaulted by a woman. He told police he asked the woman to leave after she yelled at him, and she came up and hit him in the head with her purse before leaving.
