Adams County authorities are searching for three suspects wanted in a fatal shooting Saturday night that happened during an apparently botched Halloween robbery.

The county sheriff’s office said Monday the slaying happened about 9:30 p.m. at 7399 Krameria St. near the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge.

Investigators say the three male suspects, wearing “Halloween-type” costumes, approached the victim in a driveway, demanded money and then opened fire.

“The victim, whose identity is not being released, succumbed to his injuries,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

The three suspects are considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information on the slaying is asked to call Detective Lee Page at 720-322-1234 or Adams County Sheriff’s Records at 720-322-1313.
