In the race for mayor, Marjorie Sloan won 74 percent of the total 5,670 votes counted, according to unofficial results posted by the county Wednesday. Challengers Chris Darr and Caleb J. Barcus tallied 16 percent and 9 percent, respectively.

Four are elected from wards, two are elected from districts (each district is comprised of two wards.) The city’s two district seats were up for election.

In District 1, incumbent Saoirse Charis-Graves led against challenger Paul Haseman with 54 percent of the total 2,517 votes counted.

In District 2, which saw three newcomer candidates, Casey Brown led with 52 percent of the vote. Of the two other candidates, Lauree Valverde had 32 percent of the votes and Mikey Sheridan had 16 percent of the total 2,860 votes counted.
