1 Bad, bad boyfriend. Police responded to an assault call in the 3800 block of South Broadway, Englewood. A woman there said her boyfriend broke her arm. Police spotted him trying to flee in a stolen car. He crashed and tried to flee on foot but was apprehended and booked on felony charges.

2 Orange, black and blue. A patron of Olde Towne Tavern,2410 W. Main St., Littleton, on Oct. 12 followed a man outside after he insulted his Broncos shirt. Another man approached the patron aggressively. The patron punched that man in the face, causing him to fall and hit his head. Police arrived and the victim went to the hospital but no charges were pressed.

3 Some son. A woman living in the 7000 block of South Davies Street, Littleton, said her brother put his hand on her throat and pushed her on Oct 13. She said it started when he was arguing with their mother about money and told her, “I wish you’d just kill yourself.” She did not press charges.

4 Insulted bar patron slaps woman. A woman was slapped by another unidentified woman outside Ned Kelly’s Irish Pub,5686 S. Sycamore St., Littleton, on Oct. 14. The victim said the woman made snide comments about her male friend. The victim then insulted the woman, who slapped her and drove off.

5 Thieves foiled. A man was using the restroom inside a business in the 4100 block of South Broadway, Englewood, on Oct. 28 when he heard someone come in the store. He walked out and spotted two men, one who was possibly carrying a gun. He startled them and they fled. No further information.
