1 Pregnant thief. Employees at Salon Centric at 2229 S. Peoria St. reported that a woman came into the store Oct. 16 and filled a tote bag full of products and then left the store. The suspect was described as a woman in her late 30s who was about 8 months pregnant.

2 Had by a Craigslist seller. A Denver man agreed to buy $400 tire rims from another man who was selling them on Craigslist on Oct. 19. They met in the 12000 block of East Colfax Avenue and the victim gave the man the cash and said he would be right back. About 20 minutes later, the victim saw the suspect running across the street a few blocks up. He didn’t know his real name or how to contact him again.

3 Drugged up and lost. A man called police Oct. 12 because he said his son took a bunch of drugs and broke a mirror off his truck while it was parked in front of his home in the 15600 block of East Mississippi Avenue. He told officers that the suspect was staying at a motel, but they didn’t find him.

4 Divorce dispute. Police were called to the 200 block of Nome Street because a man said his soon-to-be ex wife stole his wedding ring and $100 from his lock box Oct. 20. The estranged wife, who still lived there, said she didn’t do it.

5 Bus vandals. A driver for Le Petite Academy at 4290 S. Richfield St. noticed that someone broke into one of the buses Oct. 19 and ripped out an alarm panel.

6 Open window. A man who lives in the 1000 block of South Zeno Way left his driver’s side window rolled down Sept. 18. The next morning, he noticed that his work keys and sunglasses were taken.
